2021 UROC Room Rental Guidelines

The University of Minnesota Robert J. Jones Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center (UROC) will begin offering limited conference space rentals beginning September 1, 2021. While the facility will remain closed to the general public during daily operations, reservations to utilize conference rooms 105 and 107 can be made for up to two hours of meeting time and one hour of set-up and cleaning time. Reservations will only be scheduled with a minimum of one hour in between meetings, to allow for mandatory cleaning in-between scheduled events by UROC staff.

Organizations interested in using UROC's parking lot and grounds for a community-focused event, must complete the Parking Lot Request Form. Please note that in all cases, the UROC building will remain closed and staff will not be on hand to assist with events. During this time, the building's equipment including tables, chairs, and other items will not be available for use—including the facility's bathrooms and outdoor water supplies. Please be prepared to furnish all items needed for your outdoor event including parking cones, chairs, tables, and water supplies.
