National Congressional Arts Competition Recap
A public reception was hosted at UROC by U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar in honor of the high school students who participated in the National Congressional Arts Competition. The reception took place on Thursday, April 23, 6 - 7pm at UROC. The national competition has been held since 1982, selecting visual art from every U.S. House district for display in the U.S. Capitol for a year. The theme for this year’s Fifth District competition is Home Is Where the Heart Is. The reception drew in 30 plus people.
