UROC building reopens to the public on Tuesday, Sept. 7

Beginning Tuesday, September 7, the UROC facility will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

UROC is following Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and University of Minnesota protocols by requiring well-fitted, protective masks be worn and social distancing maintained at all times within the building. Additionally, UROC will require daily electronic check-in of all visitors, including staff and faculty, to the facility. UROC room rental and parking lot reservations are available on a limited basis based on MDH and University safety protocols. Review and download UROC’s room rental guidelines HERE.

Please note that while the building’s lobby and private offices will be open, use of UROC free-access public computers will not be available at this time. The University of Minnesota Technology Empowerment Office (TEC) located within UROC is closed to all in-person visits. The TEC office will offer free remote computer classes per the training schedule located on the TEC website. To schedule a remote class email [email protected] or call 1-605-550-9410.
