Artist Robin Hickman shares the story of her work and explores why playing with dolls still matters for adults. During a playdate with her five-year-old cousin, Hickman rediscovered dolls. Holding the dolls that looked like her, dressing and playing with them, allowed her to open the door to new levels of calm and creative energy. In DOLL POWER! Hickman's stunningly detailed photographs, installations, and narratives invite the viewer to learn more about her story and why she has made creating and uplifting dolls her life's work.
