Room Rental



IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center staff are following orders and recommendations by Minnesota Governor Walz and the Minnesota Department of Health designed to curb transmission of COVID-19. As a result and per University guidelines, the UROC facility is CLOSED until further notice. 

If you are interested in using UROC's parking lot and grounds for a community-focused event, please complete the Parking Lot Request Form. 

Please note that in all cases, the UROC building will remain closed and staff will not be on hand to assist with events. During this time, the building's equipment including tables, chairs, and other items will NOT be available for use—including the facility's bathrooms and outdoor water supplies.

Please be prepared to funish all items needed for your outdoor event including parking cones, chairs, tables, and water supplies.

The meeting rooms at UROC can be used for meetings between community members and the University of Minnesota, a policy that helps strengthen community-University partnerships and to identify issues of mutual concern.

The rooms can be reserved up to three months in advance. The capacity of the three rooms vary from 18 to 115 people.
