Support UROC's Work with a Financial Gift

Since 2009, the University's Robert J. Jones Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center (UROC) has played a central role in urban research and University-community projects that help urban communities thrive. By partnering with individuals and organizations in Minnesota's urban communities, University of Minnesota researchers based at UROC address challenges linked directly to improving the lives of those in urban communities. The center is named after internationally known crop scientist and UROC visionary, Robert J. Jones, who served as the University of Minnesota's senior vice president for academic administration from 2004 to 2013.

You can support the research projects, student internships, outreach programs and public events taking place at UROC to ensure the center's work will benefit generations to come. Support and giving opportunities are available for organizations, foundations and individuals. For more information, please contact UROC Director of Administration and Projects James De Sota at 612-624-4514.

Gifts in Memory & Honor

You can designate your gift as a memorial or an honor gift. A gift to UROC is a fitting way to remember or honor a teacher or mentor who influenced your life, a beloved friend or family member, or a public leader you admire. Families/individuals you designate will be notified of your gift, if you wish.
