U of M hosts Juneteenth march, celebration in North Minneapolis—noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, June 17

The University of Minnesota will host its second annual Juneteenth celebration block party and commemorative march in North Minneapolis on Saturday, June 17 from noon to 6 p.m. This free event — centering on the theme of "The Art of Freedom: Joy. Resistance. Rest." — will feature Black vendors, speakers, workshops, storytellers, musicians, performers, and more. The event will begin with a commemorative march, which will depart at noon from UROC.
